Looting rules are as follows:
Due to several complaints and a general annoyance to loot distribution Officers have taken time and come up with a looting system. We’ve taken into account all factors and came up with what we all agreed was the best.
All Members will start with 5 points:
Trials who join for the 1st time will also be given 5 points, however there bid will be ignored if a Member bids.
Karazhan gives 4 dkp for a full run. ( i full run means there at inv time with potions an addons etc, an staying ti either the raid is called off).
Trials will also be able to gain these points.
You will gain 1 point if you attend a raid but cannot stay for the whole raid, or if you join late to a raid; Trials and Casual Raiders will also be able to gain these points.
If the Raid Leader swaps you for another player and is not your fault (because of making a balanced raid group for example) you will still be entitled to 2 points. exceptions are aloud at times for a good reason
It will be closed biding. This means you whisper the Master Looter when biding starts and you state your maximum bid for the specified item. Master Looter will then close the biding once all wanting to bid have bided, the Highest bidder will win the item.
Minimum bid for a Tier item – 5 points
Minimum bid for a non Tier item – 2 points
Master Looter will not give out the names and bid amounts of Lower Bidders to other players.
If only one person makes a bid, then that item will go to that person for the lowest point amount:
5 points for a Tier piece item
2 points for a non-tier piece item.
Please Note:
If a Trial bids on an item which a member(s) have bidded on, then the members bid will be taken and Trials bid will be ignored.
No whispering the Master Looter when biding is taking place.
If 2 or more players whisper with the same amount, these players will have to roll for the item.
If the Master Looter (ML) would like to bid on an item that has dropped, the Master Looter will then tell an officer to take the bidding for that item, and people will whisper that officer their bids, including the Master Looter, instead.
If anyone is unsure of the rules or reasoning’s behind them, feel free to ask.
Thanks, //the Council
