· No one can hear me and people are complaining about Echo's?
Windows XP set "what you hear" as the default recording device for some stupid reason. You will have to set your Mic as your recording device. For most Sounddrivers that can be done In the Control Panel. If you have a Program for your Soundcard e.g. Audigy2 Audio Center you can do it there and set your Mic as Recording Device. If that doesnt work, already tried or does not apply to you please check below. And maybe that will solve your problem.
1. Start>Settings>Control Panel>(If you have Categories>Sound, speech and Audio Devices)(Classical layout>Audio and Audiodevices)
2. Select the Audiodevices page>Under Recording device(The one with a Microphone Icon) Press Volume.
3. Check the box beneath the Mic and adjust the volume to Maximum (This is usually required to get a decent sound out of it )
